**Plot** Twenty-two years after the original body swap, Anna Coleman is an adult music producer raising her teenage daughter Harper as a single parent, with help from Tess. Harper is irritated by a new classmate, Lily Reyes, whose snobbish attitude grates on her. After Harper and Lily cause a chemistry class incident, Anna meets Lily’s widowed father, Eric, at the principal’s office. They fall in love and become engaged six months later. The soon-to-be stepsisters are unhappy: Harper fears moving to London, while Lily wants to return there to attend a fashion academy in honor of her late mother.
At Anna’s bachelorette party, Anna, Tess, Harper, and Lily each get separate palm readings from a psychic named Madame Jen. She tells Harper and Lily a fortune about their fractured lives. An earthquake—felt only by the four of them—strikes, and the next morning they discover they’ve swapped bodies: Anna with Harper, and Tess with Lily.
